Let's just appreciate... Aaron Johnson

Aaron Johnson is fit as fuck, that's that. It's his brown curly hair and eccentricity, he's just one of God's gifts to us girls who want something to stare at. If Aaron Johnson asked me I would gladly give him my virginity.
"care to join me Ellesse?"

You'll know him from stuff like 'Angus, thongs and perfect snogging' which is a must see! Nowhere boy, one of my favourite films of all time (it's about John Lennon before the beatles) and of course Kick-ass which is very funny.

although he's married to Sam-Taylor Wood who is twice his age and has 2 children, there's still hope with this gorgeous 22 year old... probably.

he's a deffinate 10/10.

(I DON'T OWN ANY OF THE IMAGES OR THE FILMS MENTIONED)

Being Complex, good or bad?

Being Complex is about not giving too much away about yourself. No one likes an attention seeker or people who just tell them all their problems and personally, I don't like it when someone is easy to figure out, it's more fun if someone is mysterious.

You have to be yourself but hold back so people will want to dig a little deeper, this can also help you figure out who to trust and who not to trust, but don't try being all Effy Stonem Mysterious because people will think you're fucking crazy! People with depth like going beyond the surface, and people who like going beyond the surface have depth.

I don't own the images...

5 GREAT MORNING SONGS

nobody likes getting up early, but if you're looking for something to get you out of bed (that doesn't involve a bucket of water or being bounced on by your 6 year old brother) in a better mood, then download these 5 songs and stick them on your dock in the morning and I guarantee you'll want to sing along rather than sleep, you can even time how long you brush your teeth with one of them, ey?

Just incase you didn't know, I don't own any of these songs, the videos are from youtube...

1. Empire of the Sun - Walking on a dream

I love this song, it's such a feel good one. When I wake up to tyhis I'm always in a good mood, it usually gets ruined within 10 minutes of leaving the house but fuck it, it's a great song that makes you want to dance in a sort of greased lightning way and go running through the streets in wacky costumes, Give it a listen!

2.  The Boo Radleys - Wake up Boo!

It's talking about Summer being over which is pretty shit, but this is a proper morning song and the chorus is very 'get out of bed and smile' chorus, although you may live in Manchester where it rains a lot,  it's a fun song anyway!

3. The Drums - Let's go surfing

This is one of my favourite songs at the moment, it's a great song for teenagers. "I don't care if i'm nothing" is probably my favourite line, although it's a song that you're putting yourself down to, it's empowering and fun and it's just saying "fuck it".

 4. WHAM! - wake me up before you go go

right I know what you're thinking, cheesy as fuck, but it's such a feel good song. When you're getting ready in the morning dancing around to this like you're in an 80's film is just bliss, whip out your hair brush and it's like wham! - see what I did there...

5. Franz Ferdinand - Do you want to

this song is so fun and catchy, there's something I just love about Franz Ferdinand's music that makes me want to dance, this one is so energetic and fun to jump about to. perfect for getting you out of slumber mode.

My music taste...

I love all Genres, from Rock and Roll to techno pop, Scream and classical, jazz,  everything.

I can't put my finger on it, it's mad. I love all the old stuff like The Doors and The Beatles, The Rolling stones, Little Richard, The Kinks, The Jam, The Who, Joan Jett, Beach boys, Joy division, violent femmes and stuff like that. Then it's Oasis, Iggy Pop, Blur, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, RHCP, The Clash, Interpol, Radiohead, Bowie, Simple Minds, The White Stripes, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, The La's, Nirvana, Editors. Then there's The Kooks, The Libertines, The Strokes, The Killers, Kasabian, TDCC, Bombay Bicycle club, foals, The Vaccines, Snow Patrol, Kodaline. I'm into some of the more rock than roll stuff like The Wombats, We are the ocean, You Me At Six, BMTH, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Rise against. I'm into stuff like Daughter and Birdy. The music they play on skins, Empire of the sun, classical pianists like Ludovico Enaudi, Trading Yesterday and stuff like that. Fleetwood Mac of course. The Maccabees, Florence and the Machine, shit like that.

fuck sake, there's too much, I'm going to suggest playlists once a week anyway so have a listen to a few of the tracks I list.

I despise stuff like Nicki Minaj and stupid shitty rappers that are absoloutely shit and 'sing' about people being hoes and 'getting paper', doesn't appeal to me one little bit. I don't like Taylor swift or one direction or Justin Bieber.

My guilty pleasures are the spice girls (went to see them at the MEN, not to brag) and WHAM!

it's just super crazy, if you ever see me i'll let you have a flip through my ipod, promise.

No matter what your music taste though as long as you enjoy and love your music then that's top, because I think it's cool for people if they love their music like I do, unless the music you're into is a pile of shit and dubstep that sounds like a nokia ringtone.

Music is the love of my life, if it was a living being I'd Marry it and have it's children.

anyway, if you follow my blog you'll get to know a lot more about my music taste.

just a lil' cheesy quote for ya, the picture isn't mine btw...

IPOD DETOX

there is nothing better than giving your music library a re-vamp. Even though it took me 16 hours I now have 3214 songs on my ipod and they are all amazing. I'd say theres one for every mood but there's about 50. advice on freshening up your ipod...

  • you want a nice variety so you won't get bored, I have stuff from rock and roll to Ludovico Enaudi (a pianist)
  • mix it up with the pace, you don't want all slow songs, Radiohead's creep is a perfect example, it's one of the best songs of all time, shit at putting you in a good mood. on the therhand you don't want all fast, especially if you're feeling sorry for yourself.
  • Get some of the classics that you don't like but you and everybody else knows, these are good just to have to mess about with like 'wake me up before you go go'. I personally have a few little S club numbers on my ipod, guilty pleasure.
  • add album artwork to your songs if you download them illegally (shh...) because ipods look pretty when the songs have pretty pictures on them.
  • write a list before you do it and tick them off as you go, worst thing ever when you are in the mood for a song you thought you downloaded and it's not fucking there!
  • make a few playlists for different stuff, I have one for when i'm sad, one for when i'm in the shower, one for meditating and a running one that doesn't really get used a lot.
  • Make a playlist full of songs you're ALWAYS in the mood for so you can just stick it on shuffle and not have to mess around.
  • make sure the song information is all correct and the title is right, this makes it a lot easier to find the song you want.

willing to share my chocolate éclair. Hard work at the PC giving my music library some TLC.
